Guru 101: Leveraging Your Knowledge to Create Prosperity for Yourself and Others
We all know that challenging times are ahead. As a scientist (Ph.D. in theoretical physical chemistry), I've spent most of my life modeling how complex systems unfold. And the world we live in, right now, is the most "complex" system that humans have ever experienced - and is unfolding more rapidly than ever before in human history.
The world is changing faster than we can adapt. It's hard to write a business plan that looks more than three years into the future. What is certain, though, is that there will be so much turbulence, and so much chaos, that those of us who want financial stability - particularly long-term financial stability - need to find new ways to "weather the storm."
Practically, this means that those of us who are leaders - those of us who can take charge of our own lives and create a future that is not only healthy for ourselves, but which also stands a chance of benefiting those whom we love - must take a certain radical step.
That single most important, defining step is to separate ourselves from the rest of the pack. "Herd wisdom" no longer applies. "Herd wisdom" is what will get us clobbered.
